ATV News Business Channel was launched on February 17th, 2008 as Australia's 1st & only 24-hour business news channel with 1/3rd of content to be taken from NNC Business in the United States. In turn, NNC Business airs coverage from the ATV News Business Channel during holiday periods & critical financial stories breaking in the overnights & on weekends in order to continue providing current financial news coverage to American audiences.
The ATV News Business Channel began 16:9 widescreen broadcasting along with sister channel ATV News on Monday May 18th, 2009
